1. Catfishing Scam
Catfish is a term used to describe someone is pretending to be someone else in the internet. The person/s behind the account lures people with their fake photos to interact with them. Most commonly used photos are photos of good looking people and when you interact with them and get your affection, they will eventually ask for as simple as load, meals, to spending thousands for a gift.

2.Hitman Scam
This scam not known to all. A man with a gun would try to scam you by threatening you to go he will go to you and kill you or harm your loved ones if you do not cooperate and give them what they want. Be careful and report all threats at once to the authorities even though the hitman would tell you that he is a cop.

3.Romance Scam
Usually starts in Online Dating Sites and when you think that everything between you is progressing and you would think that this must be love. Then that person will ask you for litte things first. It's not love. It's a scam.

4. Bitcoin Scam
Someone will ask you to invest on bitcoin and you will get an ample amount monthly every month. It's hard to figure out if you're being scammed or not. Always question things if it is fishy.

5. Fake Shopping Scam
This scam is rampant in Facebook and Instagram. Scammers will make a lot of Facebook Pages, post one or two  items and make an advertisement for the product so other people can see it. You will think that the post is real because it has a lot of comments, shares and likes. The engagement to this post is crazy. If you see other posts by other pages, you will notice that the copy is the same and you are directed to just one link if you want to purchase. You will also think that it is legit because they put a lot of effort in putting a lot of information in their post but what looks fishy is that the offer is just to good to be true. They would offer an item for a very cheap price, free shipping/delivery, and it comes with other freebies. Sounds awesome right? It's because it's too good to be true. Some would just offer a product for free and it you would just pay for the shipping fee. What makes you want to buy it is that they would put a timer in their website so you would rush to buy one. But you will never receive your order.

Internet isn't the safe place on Earth. Always be mindful of the information you share in your social networking sites, online accounts, and any online websites that would ask for your personal information. Do not trust at once and be mindful of your safety.

When a website is asking for your personal information like full name, address, birthday, credit card details, always read the "Terns and Conditions" or the "Privacy Terms". Always countercheck other products from a trusted e-commerce website before buying.
